A 69 year-old white male with COPD and several months of fatigue, malaise, cough, and weight loss was admitted to the MICU with 6 days of worsened symptoms. Patient denied chest pain, fever, or chills. Cough was nonproductive and both CXR and CT showed dense LLL consolidation. BAL and sputum showed the above organism.
